Lost city of Atlantis | Advanced Civilization thousands of years ago
Was there an ancient civilization more advanced than us? Atlantis was a continent in the Atlantic ocean that submerged below the waves about 12,000 years ago. It is believed to have a very advanced civilization. It was a magical city.
The tale about Atlantis, was first told in two of Plato's dialogues, the "Timaeus" and the "Critias," expounded on 330 BC. The exchanges are discussions between Socrates, Hermocrates, Timeaus, and Critias.
Critias tells a record of Atlantis that has been in his family for ages. As indicated by the character, the story was initially advised to his predecessor, Solon, by a minister amid Solon's visit to Egypt.
There had been a ground-breaking domain situated toward the west of the "Mainstays of Hercules" (what we currently call the Straight of Gibraltar) on an island in the Atlantic Ocean. The country there had been set up by Poseidon, the God of the Sea. The capital city of Atlantis was a wonder of design, and building. The city was made out of a progression of concentric dividers and channels. At the plain focus was a slope, and over the slope, a sanctuary was worked to respect Poseidon, which housed a mammoth gold statue of Poseidon riding a chariot pulled by winged ponies. It was here that the leaders of Atlantis would come to talk about laws, pass judgments, and pay tribute to Poseidon.
The atmosphere was with the end goal that, two harvests were conceivable every year. One in the winter encouraged by the downpours and one in the mid year bolstered by water system from the waterway. Other than the harvests, the island gave a wide range of herbs, natural products, and nuts. A wealth of creatures, including elephants, wandered the island.
For ages the Atlanteans lived ethical lives. However, gradually they started to transform, they ended up degenerate and avaricious. At the point when Zeus saw the impropriety of the Atlanteans, he assembled alternate divine beings to decide an appropriate discipline. Vicious seismic tremor shook the land, monster waves moved over the shores, and the island sank into the ocean, never to be seen again.
The Atlantis legend has been kept alive as the years progressed, filled by scholars' creative ability and interest for this lost ideal world. The presence of the lost city has been acknowledged as a chronicled reality by numerous individuals, the possibility of a propelled human progress that had all way of exclusive learning has turned out to be extremely well known in New Age writing.
So what do you think? Did Atlantis at any point existed? Or then again it's only a fiction, let me know in the remark area.
