Nothing is permanent, change is a part of life.
Have you ever
imagined having a big house, a nice job, a happy family? Most of the people
dream of having it. Well different people has different dreams, some even dream
to move to a quiet place and live alone while some dream to quit job and travel
all around the world. What if you have achieved your dreams and you are very
happy then what would you want next? When people get very happy they want that
time to stay like that in their entire life, but sadly time changes. Everything
changes, nothing is permanent.
If you are
living a luxurious life, a comfortable life and expect that you will stay like
that your entire life, then you are wrong. Anything can happen in the future,
you may not have the same comfort as you have now. Learn to adapt to change.
Change in life is inevitable, we can’t run away from it, we have to accept it.
It’s not only about a comfortable or satisfied life; you can lose your loved
ones too. They are now around you, but someday you may lose them, it’s a harsh
reality. As situations and conditions change from time to time in our life.
People change too, their thinking, their personality, their needs and sometime
even feelings. When life struck us with a change, we get nervous, and some even
go into depression. We should prepare ourselves to deal with any kind of
situation in our life. Why wait for something bad happen to us? Prepare before
something happens. Don’t get stick to your comfort life or loved ones expecting
that life will stay like that forever. Life gives us surprises, it changes
everything, if not everything at least most of the things.
Let me tell you
a real life story, I had some friends. We used to hang out all the time. We
used to have lot of fun. That was during my teenage time. Now many years passed
away, and we all changed. Some of them are applying for jobs, some are doing
some business, and we all went different ways. Now we hardly talk, we all are
busy with our lives. But there was one friend who went to his family in village
to help them with some work there. He returned to the city after three years.
He thought everything is same, but when he met all his old friends one by one,
he noticed everything changed. It isn’t like the old times, everyone changed
over three years and now living different lives. He got depressed and now he
has just memories of his old times with his friends. He was shocked, because he
wasn’t expecting this. He thought everything will stay same. It hurts people
when they expect something and it didn’t go as they thought. Accept that change
is a part of life, it is necessary. It gives us new experiences and teaches us
a lot of things through life. That’s why bad habits are hard to get rid of,
because people are afraid of change. People want to stick to their early
routine and want to do the same things they are doing for years. They want to
stick to their bad habits, they don’t want to change and they don’t apply the
good habits. But people who has good habits, they don’t need to change. They
know how to adapt to change. That’s the difference. That’s why people with bad
habits can’t leave their bad habits easily. We are attracted to bad habits, and
when people apply it, they stay like that for their entire life, until they
want to change themselves. So when we train our mind to adapt to change, we can
avoid a lot of problems in life. We can shift into good habits; we won’t be depressed
or get nervous when life gives us a surprise that we don’t like.
